Early next year customers in the UK will see (and taste!) the new protein packed Mars and Snickers bars. With a huge reduction in sugar levels of up to 40% 2019 sees a new healthier alternative for chocolate lovers. There are also other product developments in the pipeline, as Mars plans to extend smaller portion rangers and lower calorie versions.
Nestle UK are celebrating after picking up the best education initiative award at Nestlé Academy Campus Team Initiative at the prestigious FDF Awards, a celebration of the UK’s food and drinks manufacturing industry.
Nestle have released the Ruby version of the classic 4 finger kitkat. Chocolate loves in the UK will be the first customers to try its new bar. This unique bar is pink, and offers a brand new and exciting taste experience. The bar features the iconic wafer, covered in ruby chocolate (derived from ruby cocoa beans) which serves an intense berry and fruity taste sensation. Despite it’s unique colour, there are no additions in flavour or colours!
Mars UK has announced their Sweet Sundays promotion which offers customers free movie tickets through its chocolates. This will be the seventh year of the campaign. It features Malteasers, Revels, Magic Stars, Snickers bites, Minstels, M&M’s, Galaxy and Milky Way.
It’s no surprise to hear that everyone loves chocolate, but it turns out that no one loves chocolate as much as Britain! In comparison to the rest of Europe, British residents have consumed a whopping average of 8.4kg of chocolate in the past year!
