This is achievable, the few Franchisees who do employ are still running their businesses very much in a ‘hands-on’ capacity and they tend to employ family members or close friends to assist them.

There are only so many things that can go wrong with a vending machine and whilst machines do break down it is an occasional occurrence. Franchisees are responsible for fixing machines, however SITB provide initial and ongoing training and are also on hand in both a telephone and field capacity where further assistance is needed.

However, it is the Franchisees responsibility to ensure the customer base is covered during time away. Most of our equipment has enough product capacity to ensure very sales are missed during a one-week absence. There will however be some customers who would still need a visit and most of our Franchisees tend to use a reliable family member or friend to spend a small amount of time replenishing during their absence. Other Franchisees also ‘buddy up’ with each other to provide ‘mutual’ holiday cover.
-
